- Studio Olivah
Intrusive magmatic rock of rough appearance, granite is made up of grains giving it different natural shades, from lighter to darker. It is mostly found in Minho and Trás-os-Montes region (North).
Dense and highly resistant fabric, such is burel. A key material in the making of the shepherds clothing, to be able to face the harsh climate of Serra da Estrela (in the North region), nowadays also used in urban clothing.
Studio Olivah
Created in 2021 by architect Gisella Tortoriello, after 20 years of experience in the stone industry and inspired by Portuguese natural stone, Studio Olivah, under the creative direction of Paula Sica, gives life to stone in the form of decorative objects and luxury art pieces. From the slab of rock to the piece of fabric, from curatorship to design, everything becomes object of desire with the passion of one who speaks the language of the stone.
