From Serra da Estrela sheep’s wool, the burel comes to be: coarse and lasting

Dense and highly resistant fabric, such is burel. A key material in the making of the shepherds clothing, to be able to face the harsh climate of Serra da Estrela (in the North region), nowadays also used in urban clothing.
