- JMM Design Studio
Resulting from limestone, when submitted to high temperatures and pressure for a considerably long period of time, marble is much appreciated and admired by its great adaptability to the art of carving. It is mostly found in Estremoz area, in the region of Alentejo.
Largely implemented in the region of Alentejo, the cork is one of the most versatile natural materials worldwide, Portugal accounting for over 50% of its production. Besides the traditional bottle stoppers, cork has been used in the automotive industry, footwear manufacturing and even in aerospace exploration.
